Pens Seventh Book in 2009

Las Cruces, NM - November 21, 2008: Fred Brito is slated to pen his seventh book in his thirty-year career beginning January 2009. His latest book will focus on many of the amazing silent young hero's across America who are making a huge difference in the lives of others.

"I have heard of and I have met so many young people through my travels across America who are silently sacrificing their time to be of service to others less fortunate. Many of the young people I have met, think nothing of what they are doing, only that they want to help and serve their community and the many people who live is utter despair.

For me, this is a book that will not only tell their amazing stories, but will challenge countless others to step up and become leaders in their communities by doing great work that will benefit others. As I have always said many times and in many parts of this nation; Many people sit in front of their television sets and watch news being made by other people. I believe that instead of watching the news on television, that we all need to stand up and make whatever good news that we can by reaching out to others who have fallen through the cracks of our society. This is the great work that any of us can do and it will leave a lasting mark not only in the people that we help, but in our own hearts as well, knowing that we did not sit back and watch, but we did and we did it well.

I have written a few books in my life, but for me this will be a book full or warmth and dedication for the good works, faith and hope that young people teach us day after day. This is their book, their story and it fills me with Hope as I write it, that the future will indeed be in good hands."

Fred Brito intends to have his seventh book out in November of 2009 in time for the Holiday Season.

"I found early on after making a huge mistake
and going to jail in '78, that getting a job and a place
to live was going to be difficult.

Having had so many doors slammed in my face,
I got tired of looking for a job in an "honest way."

Homeless, hungry, dirty and living on the corner of
7th Street and Broadway in downtown Los Angeles,
with literally thousands just like me, I knew that no
one was going to give me a second chance but me.

So I picked myself up off the street and headed to
the local library. . . I was determined to get a job 'one
way or another.' I created a fictitious resume,
University transcripts and a few references
and aimed for the top!

Long story short, I was hired 37 times as
a CEO getting six figures a year at many of America's
most famous corporations.

As the CEO, my job was to turn the company around,
and I made headlines for my success each and every time.
Little did I know, that at the same time, that I would also
become the most famous impostor in America."

With only a G.E.D. and a fictitious
resume Fred Brito was hired after
the very first interview.

"Getting hired to all of these jobs took a lot of work.
But I also knew that 98% of the work was convincing
myself that I could do it. With no experience, I studied
hard on the internet preparing for each interview. It
was much like what an actor does when preparing for
a role. Walking in to the interview, I knew that I had less
that two minutes to capture their attention and convince
them that I was the one for the job. . . Second to None!"
